The book I have recently read is called 'Chiquitita' by Jenny Oldfield. It was about a wild mustang called Chiquitita. Two girls called Kirstie and Lisa helped a boy called Rob look after her expecially when he went to San Fransisco to see his grandpa. Rob's dad Wayne had fired a man called Walter because her really hurt Chiquitita. After he was fired he tried to kill Chiquitita but he failed to do so.
I like this book because I didn't know it was as hard as itis to train and look after a horse. My favourite character in the book was Kirstie because she never lost faith in Chiquitita. My favourite event was when Walter;'s plane crashed into the water and Lisa and Kirstie saved him.
I think the book is suitable for 12year olds or older. I think people who like horses would enjoy this book the most, but anybody who reads it will like it.

I have been reading Halo by Eric Nylund this is whar i thought of Halo it is enjoyable for anyone. What the book is about is Halo has been destroyed, and the threat it posed to sentient life, neutrilized. But victory has come at a terrible cost for the unsc. thousands of valiant soldiers fell into the battle to prevent the alien construct from falling into the enemys clutches. Now, everything depends on the spartan known as the "Master Chief". Yet even with the aid of the artificial intelligence cortana , the Master Chief will be hardpressed to rescue survivors and evade the convenant ships patrolling the remains of Halo on debisslewn space. Ahead lies a dangerous voyage home , through a gauntlet of convenant forces. For the sake of all the Master Chief and his war torn squad must only survive but fake the fight to the enemy with a describe first strike the him convent war rages on as the alien juggernaut sweeps quikly towards its final goal destruction of all human life i think an approximate age group would be 11years of age and upwards because if has alot of violence my personal opinion is that the xbox game is better than the book.

the celtic micelllany by andrew smith and foreworded by billie mcneil. the celtic micellany was an enjoyable book for any die hard celtic fan and i would recommend it to friend or for anyone who can read.Iwould give it a 5 star rating, it includes facts about celtic and when they were founded and how they made 9 in a row also about how Henerik Larsson was the highest and still is the highest goalscorer in scotland. the lisbon lions won the champions league in lisbon beating AC MILAN 2-1 and they were crowned european champions. It was a sad day around when henerik larsson and manager Martin O,neil left, oneil left to care for his sick wife and larsson left because he though it was time to go.in 2007 Tommy Burns died with skin cancer ebvery celtic fan was devastated not only was he assistant mqanager iut through his career he was manager, player anda caretaker around celtic park.In 1971 the I.R.A bombed the home of rangers f.c [ibrox] after the old firm game which rangers won 2-1.IN 2002 the best celtic team of all time was chose and a name you would recognised was in there Jimmy Johnston the best an dthe smallest celtic player ever to brace the celtic grounds at only 5ft 3inches. the rest of the team was made yup of goalkeeper- ronnie simpson, defenders-danny mcgrain, tommy gemmell, bobby murdoch, billy mcneil. midfielders-paul mcstay, jimmy johnston, bertie auld, boobby lennox and strikers-henerik larsson, kenny dalgleish.
currently on 1/3/10 celtic are 2nd in the league behind rangers.

'the lottie project' bye Jacqueline Wilson.
I liked this book because it felt like a true story. its about a girl called Charlie. She is very popular and everyone wants to be her friend. They get a new teacher who is very strict and boring called Miss Beckworth. She stayed in a house with her mum Jo, when they could afford it they moved to a quiet posh estate. Jo looses her job. So goes to find another. She finds three small jobs that earn enough money. Charlie gets a job with one of her neighbours to read to her but when she goes she only gets 10p. They go and see her gran and papa to wish them a happy anniversary but they start argueing. Later on Jo and Charlie go and babysit Robin. This is Jo's main job. Robin and Charlie play with his fluffy toy 'birdie'. Jo started making a fuss when she was taking Robin home. She would wash her hair and put on her best clothes. The next day she made up with Jo and made cakes. She took them to school and gave them out. Jamie got one saying ' i love you '. Charlie went round to Jamies house. When his mum came home she fed them. Charlie counted the rooms and there was 14 rooms. She borrowed a book then played war with him. A few days later Robin goes missing. Charlie had said horrible things to Robin. Like his dad doesnt love him anymore because when they went out her mum and mark, Robins dad, went on a love bird ride and were kissing. The police and Mark are searching for him but they only find birdie. They put stories about Robin on the radio, They get a phonecall to say they've found him in the transition. Everyone goes to the hospital to see him and he says he had a nightmare and wanted his mum. At school the next day Charlie tried to run away but Miss Beckworth stopped her and she fell. She took her in to make her better and for the first time ever called her Charlie. A few days later Jo went to see Robin and he was fine.

igThe book i have recently read is called " The fairy Rebel" by Lynne Reid Banks.

"The Fairy Rebel" is about a queen who strictly forbids fairies from using their magic powers on humans. But after Tiki accidentally meets Jan, a woman who is desperate for a baby daughter, she finds it impossible
to resist fulfuilling her wish. Now Tiki is up against the dark and vicious power of evil this fairy rebel Tiki must face the queens fury with frightening and maybe even fatal results.

I liked this book because it was a really good book and i really liked the story. My favourite part was when Tiki gave Jan a baby daughter and at the girls birthday Tiki would give the baby a rose a different one each year.

I think the book is suitable for 11-14 year olds because i think they would enjoy the story more and it would be too long for younger children to read.

My favourite charcter was Tiki because she was really nice to Jan by giving her a baby daughter and she was always there for Jan because Jan always felt lonely and now she does'nt. Tiki would also give the baby girl a rose each year on her birthday and each one was different and taught the girl differnt things.

the book i have recently read and enjoyed is A series of unfortunate events written by lemony snicket.
It ios about three children whos parents had died n their social worker has been tyrin to find them a nice home, however there is a man called count olaf who is tryin to kill the children so that he can inherit their money as the childrens parents were very wealthy and left them a small fortune. Olaf tried a number of ways to kill them like parking the car and locking the doors on a railway line while he goes into a shop,by trapping them in a snakes cage and trying to drown them in the sea. I thinkthat the book was sometimes quite hard to keep up with and hard to understand but i wouldnt deffinately read it again.

The book I have read is called bunker 10 it is by J.A. henderson. It is about a secret military base that has a group of highly intelligent children on it. when one of these children is taken down to the secret bunker 10 things start to go wrong and puts the whole base in danger of destruction.
My favourite character is Diddy Dave. He is a Glasgow ned who wears an emaculate white tracksuite, wich he stole, a burbury hat and a ton of jewelry. He is my favourite character because he is a Glasgow ned and is really funny.
My favourite part in the book is when Major Cowper tries and manages too take on the hypnotised soldiers with a pistol. It is my favourite part because it is very cool and clever.
I think this book would be suitable for people between the ages of 11 and 14. I think that people under 11 would find this book a bit difficult and I think that anyone over fourteen would find it boring.
In conclusion it was a good book and I would recomend it to all in the age group. J.A. Henderson is a good author and I hope to read more of his work.
