The Road of the Dead by Kevin Brooks

late one night, two brothers learn that thier sister has died in the worst way imaginable.shes found strangled desolate place hundreds of miles from thier east london home.

Ruben is the smarter of the two with a gift for getting into other peaples hearts,Cole may be older but he's a devil's angel who does'nt care if he lives or dies.Together they set out to find thier own answers and retrace Rachel's final journey.

I thought that the book was really good and exiting is well.I only got the book because my friend recomended it for me.I never thought that it was going that it was going to be this good.My favrite characther was Cole because he is usually in the thick of the action and he is always protecting Ruben.

I would definatly not recomend this book to younger readers because there is sometimes a lot of bloodshed at the main parts of the book.I would recomend it to my friend who like action in thier books like me.

The book I've read is called "Martyn Pig" by Kevin Brooks, it's the sequal to the book "the road of the dead". But you don't have to read them in order.
This book is about a boy named Martyn Pig. At the begining he tells you about how he hates his name and that he gets teased a lot. Then he talks about his father, William Pig, he is a drunk and sometimes hits his son. Martyn really loves to read murder mysteries like Sherlock Holmes and watches them reguarly on tv. One day when he's watching it his dad shouts out in a stupid voice imitating Sherlock Holmes. Martyn snaps, stands up and shout at him to SHUT UP! This is a bad idea as his father id drunk. He swings out with his beer bottle but Martyn is to quick and pushes him into the wall. As he's drunk he doesn't get up. It's ovious that he's dead. The rest of the book is about how Martyn trs to cover up the murder with his freind Alex. He has to put up with blackmail, police, detectives and throwing his own fathers body in a hole.
I really liked this book. It has a very suprising storyline and it's just full of twists. I just couldn't put it down because I wanted to see if he'd get away with it.
I've already reccommended it to some of my friends and they're waiting for me to put it back so that they can read it!
